Winter garden

Every flat surface in our apartment has some plants on it (almost). All of my geraniums from this summer, a pot of some very happy tarragon, and now paperwhite bulbs, daffodils from my mother-in-law, and a struggling amaryllis leftover from last year. Also a pitcher with pine cuttings Jason brought home.

When my paperwhites sprouted the other day I did a little dance as they are also from last year and I wasn't positive that I had stored them properly over the summer.

Tarragon.

My happy geraniums.

A slightly unhappy and a very upset geranium together in a pot.

Waiting to sprout.

I like to bring my geraniums in too. This is the third winter in for these. They get a little scraggly with the lower light, but snip, snip in the spring and they do well in the summer. I tried it last year with a petunia, but it died right away. And I've got plants all over the place too. I like green!

Debbie is right-love that geranium and next summer you will be rewarded for you patience and love.
