Colder Days

It's starting to get colder up here. It's been a long time coming, but we have definitely enjoyed having such a warm fall. The Farmer's Market is over (sniff), so we need to come up with a list of fun things to do on the weekends.

Once it starts snowing, we have plans for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing with the kiddos in backpacks and sleds. But for now we're in need of some ideas. Ice skating has started at the rink here, so we might try that one day with Jason on the ice with Hazel and me hanging out with the big man on the sidelines.

This weekend we'll be going to see The Sound of Music at the local high school. We're bringing Hazel and hoping that she enjoys seeing her first musical in person. I think she'll either be completely mesmerized or completely not into it. So we'll see.

Hazel getting Raggedy Anne ready for a walk in the Ergo carrier.

Morning good-bye kisses.

Klaas being cooperative during dress up and wearing Hazel's old hat, per her wishes.

And finally, several pictures of the cutest little guy we have around here.

Sorry- too many spelling goofs. Hazel will love the musical, of course- those genes HAD to have been inherited!

And Klaas doesn't look in the least sleep-deprived!

Hazel can always become one of the cast.

They are just the cutest -- how did Sound of Music go? When we were in VT, we went to the resort with the Von Traap family name in Stowe and it brought back memories of all the times I have seen the movie but play only once (maybe?) Love ya all.
