The chub and life

Our "little" man Klaas was almost 16 pounds at his two month checkup. And he'll be 3 months old next week. How is that possible? The days just seem to go by faster and faster. The days are filled with storytime, crafts at the co-op, walks downtown, reading stories, singing songs, watching Klaas roll over, and playing "baby" with Hazel.

We laugh at his legs; they are beyond chubby and have several layers of rolls.
We put the kids to bed around 8, go to bed at 9:30 and the next thing we know it's 7:30 the next morning and Hazel is bouncing on our bed saying her numbers, running through her ever-expanding vocabulary, and singing her little songs. Today in the car she was singing "motorboat, motorboat, go so fast," but it came out a little more like "motoorrr, motoorr, FAST FAST!"
Hazel's favorite game is to wrap up her dolls, shush them and then put them down for a nap. She closes the door, waits about 10 seconds, then yells, "CRYING!" and runs into her room to pick up the doll. (Trust me, I don't do that with Klaas. I have found it's a bit hard to let him cry at all with such a helpful big sister around to make sure he is content at all times.)

And she just started "feeding" her dolls. I swear, I didn't encourage this at all. All her.

I remember when Elizabeth did the pretend feeding thing. But it is very cute.

I absolutely love how she uses the cover as well. :) Also, love the chub! He's so big! I can't wait to see you all in December!

Great pictures! Your kids are so cute! Klass is so adorably chubby. Kate was 16lbs at her 4 month check-up which put her in the 90%.
