A little Hazel update

It seems that every day she is learning something new and she just keeps on chattering about this and that. Yesterday, I swear, she said "No, it's fine" three times to me in a few minutes when I kept dropping something and saying sorry. And she is very into buckles right now. At the playground, after giving some serious attention to the slides, she will just hang out by the stroller, playing with the straps and clasps.
Today we headed up to a great park with a freezing stream in the national forest just about 45 minutes away. We camped there last year and today we had a wonderful bbq with good friends. Hazel had her first ice cream cone of her very own (homemade ice cream by Amy - yum) and had fun chasing around the older boys.

Does she have a thing for older boys? (Riley, and these boys) Watch out, Liz!

I think it was more that she thought it was cool when they were digging in the dirt. And playing with sticks. All those things that little girls may not think of right away - getting dirty and being crazy.

Getting dirty or not -- she looks "all girl" in some of your photos of her. Enjoy the moments...
