A new toy

This afternoon we became the proud owners of a Canon EOS Rebel xsi camera, thanks in part to my parents' New Years gift to us and in part to Uncle Sam. We found an amazing deal on Craigslist (you have to love Craigslist) and I am so excited to start playing around with f-stops and shutter speeds. Here's just a few snapshots from this afternoon and dinner.

Sauted asparagus, bell pepper, and tomato with garlic on top of chicken with penne alfredo. I have to give credit for the idea to a friend of mine. And it was yummers.
