Making Apple Cider

These are old pictures from September, when Liz was visiting. (In case you didn't already know, Jason's sister and myself share the same name. Most of you already knew that though since my audience is mostly my mother and about 2 friends from home.)

Anyways, we went up to Bishop's Orchard and made cider and it was delicious! That was the only culinary activity all week, since our kitchen was out of commission at the time.

I don't have any pictures of Liz for some reason, they're all of Jason and one of me....sad. I thought I took some of her. Maybe our camera is eating pictures. She did work very hard turning that crank to chop up the apples. Way to go! (Imagine a picture of her chopping up apples, like the one of me.)

I've always wanted to do this, but fall comes and goes and we never make it. I suggest a Mortimore/Schuiling outing next September. Pencil us in ;)

Yes! Sounds great - it's a plan.
