gDiapers

I saw an article about gDiapers in Inc. magazine. Apparently they're an Australian company that has created a disposable, eco-friendly diaper. You can even put wet diapers in your home compost pile and they will decompose in 50-150 days.

We don't have kids yet, but it seems pretty interesting. Better than disposable (which I guess take 500 years to decompose) and more convenient than cloth diapers (which I still say I want to use, but we'll see how dedicated I am).

Here's their site for surfing purposes.

We're planning to give these a try, and I bet we'll post something on our blog when we know how we like 'em. They're pretty cost-comparable to cloth diapers with a diaper service. AND they're pretty cute, which counts too.

Yes - please post something once you try them. I interested to hear from someone who I know and has actually used them.

Interesting, I'll have to check it out. Hopefully I can get Eliot out of diapers pretty soon.

You guys are crazy. I can't imagine looking up diapers online before I had kids. Now that I DO...I would be interested. I'm guessing we contribute anywhere from nine to twelve diapers a day, but that could be conservative - I'll ask the wife!
