And there was much rejoicing...

Well, you are now reading the blog created by an Executive Secretary/Contract Manager! I got offered the job and I took it and hoorah! I'm putting in my notice this afternoon with the principal. I already told my supervisor, and she was sad to be losing me, but I'm just very thankful that I have a new job that has a better pay and I won't be bored so much of the time.

The interview went really well, but I didn't know if they were going to hire me because we're probably going to be moving in 6 months. During the interview, they kept asking me about Jason's future job possibilities and what they could do to keep us here. Someone once referred to the company as Hotel California, "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." They're such a good company, they want their employees to be happy and stay working for them. A lot of people are so happy there, they would never consider leaving. I just wish we could have gotten to go to the Christmas party...they had the French chef here in town do the catering....delicious!

But I am definitely looking forward to a wonderful work environment and new challenges!

So I'll let you know when I start and all the fun details of rewriting contracts! (Seriously...so excited.)

Congratulations!

I'll try giving you a call this weekend to catch up and hear more about it. After the crazy holiday/wedding it would be nice to actually chat. : )

Congratulations!
I'm glad to see you are finally going to be working at something that will use a little more of all that brain power you inherited!
What does the company do?
Say Hi to Jason for us.
John and I are very proud of you.
Love you both,
DA
