Berries from a bush down the street. I'm not sure which kind they are, though my mother could probably tell me. I'm sure they are poisonous, which is why they are up on the windowsill, away from little hands.
Hazel and I made this felt leaf garland for our picture frames and our front window. She was very helpful in organizing the stacks of colors. I found the inspiration (aka I just copied) the idea from a picture I saw on Pinterest.
The wreath was super easy and was done in about one hour, and that includes the flower making.
The hour did include several breaks to watch Pushing Daisies, so you could probably do the whole thing in 30 minutes if you really wanted to. Tutorial for the flowers was found here and for the rest of it, I just wrapped strips of fabric around a wreath form. By the by, who on earth decided on a lovely purple color for our door? Seriously, it is exactly that color, maybe just slightly grayer in real life. If I were choosing doors for an apartment complex, I would so not pick one like ours. Though it is nice and sturdy.
Anywho...I like the wreath.
And I did love it when Jason and Hazel lit up our little leaf lanterns we made last year. It made our windowsill seem very cozy.

Wow, your decorations look fantastic. Maybe I should find my felt stash...
Liz - those berries are from a Mountain Ash. They are not poisonous and I've read they can be made into delicious jam. You just have to freeze them first for some reason, I think they're pretty gross right off the tree.
It looks so pretty. You are an inspiration. Unfortunately, since I tend to spend more time in my classroom than at home, the inspiration will have to be for school.
See you later!!! Yeah!!!
