Costume Ideas
Neither Jason nor I are very big on Halloween, but our church has a fall carnival at the end of October. And of course Hazel needs a costume. I found these very fun ideas on Martha Stewart's website. I'm thinking maybe a ladybug costume for her....but I do love the owl. Just would need to make it more of a "girl owl" outfit, not sure what that would entail.

So hilarious. I went with store bought costumes this year. I'm not ashamed, just spread thin. I'm sure you'll come up with something super fun, and Hazel is gonna be cute in anything really.
If she is a ladybug then she will be twins with Kate. :-) I bought a ladybug costume at Target the other day since I am not creative enough to make my own. It is pretty cute! I think Hazel will look adorable no matter what you put her in.

oh, i loved the flower with the gigantic petals. although i just saw a super easy (not as cute) flower costume in some magazine. they had a solid yellow pant/shirt outfit. then they ran green, silky yarn from the ankle to shoulder for stem. they took the leaves off some silk flowers to lay out along the stem and used the flowers themselves in a headband. it made the cutest little mum.
personally, i buy old navy. they are nice and warm and pass down great. and i'm lazy. good luck. *m
