I like the little blue seat--saw one in use for the first time several weeks ago and they are really nice. Dinner looks delish--did you find the recipe w/ the carmelized onions?
Love the Bumbo seat - we're borrowing it from a friend. I think I might get one off Ebay since it's really great for her to sit up with the big people.
And we just winged the recipe with the yams and they were delicious if I do say so myself. Just boiled the yams, mashed them with a little butter, milk, and brown sugar, and then caramelized two small onions and stirred them in. It really was very good - a good idea by Jason.

Saw a seat like that on Craigslist- you may have lots of Craigslist shopping to do when you come!
