Autumn Hullaballoo

Today was Colfax's Autumn Hullaballoo! We started off the morning at the pancake breakfast at the firehouse with Tim, Sarah, Eliot, Grace, and Sarah's parents. The kids spent the whole time on the antique fire trucks and we enjoyed delicious pancakes, eggs, and sausage. The weather was perfectly fall-ish - in the 60s, cloudy, and drizzly. We walked downtown afterwards and checked out the Whitman County Quilt Guild show - gorgeous quilts! I should have taken some pictures. And we heard the karaoke contest in progress...I think Sarah said that 10am was a little early to be hearing someone sing Desperado.

Post pancakes.

Sleeping with her finger in a button hole. Always the most comfortable position.

My first picture ever with Sarah. Strange that it's taken this long to have one.

Flying through the air with the greatest of ease.

Men with their Bob strollers.

I'm sorry I missed the quilts. I succumed to a two hour nap instead which felt quite good.

Naps are wonderful! I've been cleaning our house since we got home and now I'm ready for a nap. But at least I can see our bedroom floor now!

Sounds like serious competition to the Almond Blossom Festival!
