Snowshoes!

We went snowshoeing at Phillips' Farm on Saturday, a park just outside Moscow. It was great! We'd never done it before, but this is a definitely a winter sport I could get into. It reminds me a lot of cross-country skiing.

So here are some pictures for your enjoyment.

Merilee, reading to hit the hills!
The group - ready to set out from Phillips Farm.

The girls: Merilee, me, and Kristen.
They both look so cute and colorful, while I am wearing
Jason's sweatshirt and old snowpants. But such is life.

My butt and my snowshoes.

Jason. He was very green.

An action shot of me striding through the snow!

The snowy hills outside Moscow.
Going through the woods. We were gone for a few hours
and probably hiked 2 miles or so. Quite the workout!
That's me in the back.
Me and Jason at the end of the hike. I was more than
ready. My legs hurt. And then we ate delicious
roasted tomato soup and beer bread provided by Kristen!
So prepared!Definitely going to do this some more.
