There's an almond tree with pink blossoms way behind our property by the river. Beautiful! Makes me homesick to think about it. It's just so lovely there at this time of year. Bright blue skies, crisp air, sometimes it's quite hot, and all the grass and weeds in the orchards are bright green. Life in Technicolor.

I hate to break it to you, dearest sister...but they cut down that old tree. I think it broke during a storm last winter :( Sorry.
But the blossoms in the mail are awesome none-the-less! :)
However- there are suckers coming off the base of it, and Dad wants to prune it to one strong shoot so it will regrow! Isn't God great how He takes care of things and gives us new life?
