I went to Oregon a few weeks ago. I love Oregon. They pump your gas for you and then charge you more. I did enjoy my little jaunt down to our lovely neighbor to the south and even more so, my visit with Alexandra, the polo guru.
I did not however enjoy driving through some city, south of Walla Walla, where within a one block distance, the speed limit went from 65 to 30 to 25 to 20. Within one block. Seriously Oregon, why? After a visit up to Idaho a few years ago and driving through eastern Oregon, I swore to never again visit that portion of the state due to their playing with the boundaries of common decency when it comes to speed limits on highways. But I wanted to see Al. And I did get to ride a pony and swing a polo stick.

In other news, we are now in Seattle, Washington visiting my sister and her fiance. Brand new fiance. (I don't mean that she once had a fiance and now has a newer one, but that they very recently got engaged.)
And what I found ridiculous on the way over here is that Jason expected me to not sing and dance along to Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves while I was driving through Ellensburg. I mean, come on.
Bien sur!
