Ahh junior highers- they are at a point in their lives where the most stressful aspect to their day is this:
English teacher: I'd like you all to challenge yourselves this semester. For example, if you read mostly mysteries, try science fiction. Or, most of you read only fiction. Maybe you could try some non-fiction.
Students: GASP!!
(Totally not kidding - the entire class gasped and started talking amongst themselves about the possible tragedies that occur when one reads non-fiction books.)
