my score: 65% general american english 20% dixie 10% upper midwestern 5% midwestern 0% yankee
however, i must agree with carrie that the test and results are flawed. for example, the only options on question 6 were water fountain and drinking fountain which does not take into account wisconsinites (and a certain nameless californian) who use the term "bubbler."

Carrie here-
I ranked 60% General American English, 25% Yankee, 10% Dixie, 5% Upper Midwestern, and 0% Midwestern.
But, I can't help but wonder about the Hawaiian's and Alaskans. And let us not forget anyone from Puerto Rico!
In Hawaii, I've heard the term "Liquid Sunshine" used very often for when it is raining while the sun is shining.
I'd love to stick up for anyone from Alaska and Puerto Rico, but as I do not know anyone from those two places, I'm at a disadvantage.
So, I fear his test and thus the results are then automatically flawed. See, you really can make statistics say anything you want!
Too bad it's a fun quiz to take huh?!!
