RE: Investigation of recent attacks at the Shangri-La

In the last 24 hours, two horrible murders have been committed at the Shangri-La Nightclub and Lounge. Victims include (1) Mr. Benny Rodentia and his wife Irene. The Rodentias had the world's largest collection of Oklahoma State Penitentiary memorabilia.

(1)

They were the former owners of the Shangri-La, but were forced to sell the club a few months ago to a businessman of questionable character, (2) Mr. Harold Noir. The circumstances of the sale are still entirely unknown. Mr. Noir has a love of fried sushi and short walks on the beach.

(2)

The third victim is (3) Mr. Reuben Lizardi. He worked at the Shangri-La as the male bathroom attendant, handing out towels and so forth, for 23 years. He was known for his kind demeanor and love of bath salts.

(3)

The attacks took place after the club was closed at 2 a.m. Friday morning. Aside from the the victims and Mr. Noir, the only other people present were (4) Ms. Claudia Claudine and (5) Miss Ethel Burmeister.

Ms. Claudine is the star performer at the Shangri-La and is known for gargling with egg whites before each performance.

(4)

Miss Burmeister has been the bookkeeper of the Shangri-La since its opening in 1923. Although she has never settled down, Miss Burmeister has had many male suitors, including Cary Grant.

(5)

The only clue recovered from the scene is this set of (6) footprints found leading from the main office, where Mr. and Mrs. Rodentia were found, to the parking lot and Mr. Lizardi's body.

(6)

After questioning the suspects the following was discovered:

1. Miss Burmeister found out that Ms. Claudine was being paid twice her usual rate since the club's purchase by Mr. Noir.
2. Miss Burmeister had been embezzling money from the Rodentias and Mr. Rodentia knew of this discrepancy.
3. It has been rumored that Mr. and Mrs. Rodentia were not following all regulations regarding their immigration to the U.S. from Georgia (the former Soviet state, not the state in the southern United States with the state song of "Georgia on my Mind" or an obsession with peaches).
4. The sale of the Shangri-La to Mr. Noir was very fast and rumored to be caused by government inquiries into the Rodentia's past.
5. Mr. Lizardi had the bad habit of eavesdropping on other co-workers' conversations.
6. Mr. Noir was once indicted, but not tried, with a charge of blackmail.

Sgt. Whodunnit - please review this information and inform me as to your conclusion of who the murderer is and why the crimes were committed.

And you can join the discussion on another blog.

I think you need to check your facts. Miss Burmeister has an iron-clad alibi, as I know who she was in bed with all night the evening of the crime. What about the 4th suspect, who was probably too scared to get his picture taken? Or #5, who I KNOW is the real culprit, with her wicked Oriental temper!

We actually made up a story to go with this - and tried to make an actual mystery - so read the facts and go with the info given - not your knowledge of the other "suspects" living at our house.

Ok- how about personal knowledge of the suspects? One is too old and has bad teeth, so she was unable to commit the crime, one was asleep, leaving one overweight gray and white lazy suspect, caught on previous occasions with his victims STILL DANGLING form his jaws.
