The World at Large

While scrolling through the news stories this morning, I ran across a section on CNN.com which contained only the most unusual of stories.

These included the story that the city of Berkeley, California will be voting in November whether or not to make prostitution legal, how a Dallas fire station caught on fire when the firemen left for a call and forgot to turn off the stove, and the glorious news that there is now a new Czech beverage which has an...interesting flavor.

My favorite though has to be the Swedish farm with 14 moose (meese?, mooses?), three of which are "milking cows." Moose milk makes excellent cheese apparently, and at $500 a pound, it better be the most delicious cheese ever. The main reason for the expense is that it takes up to two hours to milk a moose and they only give 1 gallon a day from May to September. So get on over to Bjursholm, Sweden and visit the "Moose House" to give that gourmet moose cheese a taste!
