For my birthday last weekend, Jason took me out for a yummy breakfast at Bloom, with only the smallest bambino in tow. Which for a new mother of three, is the best birthday present of all: several lovely hours away from home just with her husband and baby.

Then he took me shopping (and even found me a pair of awesome leather Hanna Andersson clogs). What a nice husband to volunteer to take his wife clothes shopping; it wasn't even my idea. He also made a blueberry tart for dessert. We all watched some I Love Lucy together and it was a very good day.
