In typical Schuiling "festina lente" fashion our newest arrival is here - late, slow, and well done.
We welcome to our family our second son, Casper Olevian Witt Schuiling, named after his great-great-grandfather Casper Witt (1897-1966, Jason’s grandmother’s father) and German Reformed theologian and co-author of the Heidelberg Catechism, Kaspar Olevian (1536-1587).
You can call him ‘Cas’, ‘Ole’, or ‘Wit’, just don’t call him late for supper. Our “kleine stijfkop” came in at a whopping 10 lbs., 22 in. at 2pm June 19th. Mother and child are due home this afternoon. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
