Happy St. Lucia Day!

who we are

elizabeth i live in northern idaho and try to bless my husband with my humble homemaking skills. i enjoy being mama to hazel and klaas, cooking, baking, sewing, quilting, craft blogging, reading mysteries, and all things northern californian.

jason also lives in northern idaho and will be a contributor to this blog. he enjoys carpentry, listening to johnny cash, wondering why his wife likes to read mysteries so much, and adoring hazel and klaas. he is currently researching school bus renovations so that we can become nomadic hippies.

hazel enjoys dancing like a crazy person in a huge tulle skirt, eating fruit leather, pancakes, and spinach, playing tea party with her little brother, and helping in our mini garden.

klaas enjoys eating, being so incredibly busy that he never stops moving unless he's asleep, furniture cruising, and finding disgusting things under the kitchen cabinets to put in his mouth. he also adores his big sister and jumps and squeals when she plays little tricks on him.
