Jason's thesis defense went wonderfully; he was quite articulate and I was so proud of him. (And he's now almost done with this whole thing!)
The questions were good, but not as tough as he imagined and he had a great dialog with the defense committee. I liked the point when Joost Nixon and Doug Wilson started talking about something and Jason commented, "If I could interject here...." But he held his own and was able to explain and clarify his points. Of course with his topic, as Wilson said, each thing he said could open up 10 more questions about different subjects.

Jason's actually in the revision stage of his thesis, but once he's finished you may have a copy. I'll let you know.
