I really shouldn't be in customer service....

I was on the phone this morning leaving a message for a customer, rambling as I always do on voicemail and at the end started saying something that I very much regret. I don't know what my little brain was thinking, but I started to say "in Jesus' name we pray, amen."

Luckily I caught myself and the only thing that came out was "in Je." I paused and then said, "have a great day" and hung up the phone. Hopefully this woman doesn't realize what I was saying and just thinks that I don't speak clearly. I am horrifyingly embarrassed and feel ridiculous; I mean in what world would my brain think that leaving a voicemail was the same thing as praying?

Anyways, I think I'm done for the day. I need to go home.
