Also just watched The English Patient week. And I actually understood the whole spy/map/Nazi/torture thing this time. I've watched that thing before and after it was finished, I just sat there thinking, "What the heck was that about?" Now I understand!
But now I have to go be good and take of the obscene amount of dishes that have been stacked in my sink. I also want to do some Pilates. I have to get done in time for devotions. Maybe I should stop blogging. Toodles!

I remember not liking Sleepless the first time I watched it. That was quite a while ago though. I should probably give it another try. With Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, how could it be anything BUT good??
Have fun with the dishes.
It's so good Esther - and very funny. Give it another try and let me know.
EWWW! tom hanks...ick ick ick
Seriously, Liz, after a comment like that Wesley deserves to be BANNED from your blog. (Just kidding, Wesley.)
How about staying on a house boat in Seattle when we go up for Anne's graduation? sorry- no Tom Hanks, and Wes, we were going to ask you to come but if you feel like that about my fellow Skyline High graduate, well......
Houseboat - fun!
Esther - Wes and I have had a long disagreement about one of the best actors. So even though I have considered the ban several times, I continue to allow him to visit my fabulous website. And to my recollection, he can't come up with any plausible arguments as to why he hates Tom Hanks so much. Why is that again Wes?
I have never seen that movie.
But then again, are you surprised?
three things:
1) one of your parental figures went to school with tom hanks?
2) ok, you know those people that for no good reason at all just grate on your nerves? well, that's like my relationship with mr. hanks.
3) why does it seem like weeks since i have last talked to you?
Forgive me for entering the argument a little late. However, I want my opinion registered here too. (If only to add to the debate!)
I enjoy Sleepless. It's a good movie, how you not like it. And the kid is great. He's probably the reason why I like it.
But, I love "You've got Mail." That is the movie pairing Meg and Tom that I much prefer. The chemistry just works better, for the main characters and that of the supporting cast.
Finally, I can't forget to mention that in "You've got Mail," there are numerous opportunities for quoting good movie lines (Not as much in Sleepless...) I mean, "F-O-X" How cute is that! And the playful nature and story to involve having to, "Go to the mattresses" thus involving other great moments of movie history with the nods to "The Godfather."
I have proabably seen "You've Got Mail" way too many times to even count. Fabuloso!
