Caramel and Rugby

As I sat here eating my delicious Breyer's Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream (definitely a recommended flavor) I realized I needed to share with you this fabulous picture of Jason. He has the tendency to be obsessed with caramel and when I made a custard, he enjoyed eating the leftover sauce in the bottom of the dish.

But some more about Breyer's Ice Cream: William Breyer first started making ice cream in 1866 in Philadelphia and sold it from a wagon pulled by a white horse named Peacock. That is your fun fact of the day.
Jason is completely zonked out in the other room, tired from a very long weekend. He played his first rugby game of the season versus UI. It was also my very first time watching a rugby game. Very fun and exciting and at times you cringe when two players collide, especially when one of them is your husband. Jason got a great cut on his forehead when his forehead met with another teammate's head. (I woke him up to take this picture, just so you know.)

Also on Saturday and Sunday we had a great visit with his great aunt and uncle. They were driving through the area and stopped by to say hello. A good time was had by all - it was fun getting to know them a little bit better.
Tomorrow it's back to work at school after the holiday weekend and to the joy that is bus duty. But that's another story.
